A Coaching Exercise: Your Life

Imagine This...
Contemplating Couple in the park

Let’s play a game.

Take a mental picture of your life as it is right now.

Visualize in as much detail as you can, all areas of your life; family, career, relationships, health and so on.

Are you satisfied with each area?

Are there aspects of your life that you want to be different?

Imagine a few months have passed by and your life has remained the same.

That whatever it is that you’ve wished to be different - it’s still there, unchanged.

Six months from now.

The longing you feel for better health, more money, a more loving, fulfilling relationship?

It’s staring you right in the face.

A year from now.

These unfulfilled dreams are the same - unfulfilled

A decade from now.

Your life has barely changed.

OK, game over. How did that make you feel? 

Did it make you feel happy and satisfied?

No?

Maybe one of these scenarios is blocking your potential:

  • Feeling stuck, even though you are taking steps to move forward in your life?
  • Overidentifying with your chronic illness or diagnoses- defining yourself by them.
  • Are you taking care of others first while putting your needs on the back burner?
  • Are you repeating old habits that are sabotaging your success without realizing it?
  • Minimizing your accomplishments even though you are moving forward.
  • Staying in relationships that are unfulfilling or unhealthy.

  • You have a daily personal spiritual practice that makes you feel calm, centered and strong.
  • You’ve made profoundly amazing positive changes in your life and it shows.

Everything you need to create the sparkling life you deserve is already inside of you.

By playing along with this exercise you have already set the stage for your powerful self-transformation to begin. The Universe is geared up for your vision to become a reality.
